Bacteria Multiply At Lightening Speed & Release Toxins That Can Cause Considerable Damage To The Tissues. There are several types of bacteria that can lead to different types of diseases or infections. These infections can be external or internal.

It can be ingested or inhaled. They can even gain entry into the body through damaged or broken skin. When bacteria form a parasitic association along with other organisms, they are referred to as pathogens.

  • Cellulitis: An infection in the deepest layer of the skin, which causes a red, inflamed and painful skin rash on the face and legs.
  • Tonsillitis: Infection in the throat.
  • Eye Stye: Swollen, bumpy, and painful cyst like growth on the eyelid, caused due to Staph bacteria.
  • Lyme Disease: This infection is transmitted to humans through black-legged ticks. The infection results in skin rash, body ache, fever and fatigue. If left untreated, lyme disease could lead to painful and swollen joints, thus ending up in arthritis.
  • Staph Infections: A skin infection causing blood poisoning or endocarditis, in worst cases it can result in septicemia and meningitis.

Some of the other common bacterial infections include sinus infection, bronchitis and vaginosis.

Usually, bacterial infections are treated using antibiotics. Drugs like Amoxil are often prescribed for treating different types of bacterial infections. This drug belongs to a category of antibiotic drugs called penicillins. Amoxil does not kill the bacteria, but prevents it from multiplying. It prevents the bacteria from forming the walls that surround them.
